    The Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black HBP 2nd Gen Wood Shafts represent the evolution of the original Kuro Kage Black series, known for its smooth bend profile. This second generation shaft maintains a soft mid-section but incorporates a slightly stiffer tip and butt-section for enhanced stability and control. A notable update is the introduction of a higher balance point, achieved through the use of High Density Prepreg in the lower shaft portion. This higher balance point aims to increase clubhead speed, providing golfers with greater distance potential while maintaining the shaft’s characteristic feel and responsiveness.

    KURO KAGE™ Black Second Generation: Like the original KURO KAGE™ Black, the Second Generation KURO KAGE™ Black features a smooth bend profile, with a softer mid-section balanced by a slightly stiffer tip and butt-section, with an all new higher balance point. Our High Density Prepreg continues to be used in the lower third of the shaft, for enhanced feel, stability and strength. Using High Density Prepreg also allows us to raise the balance point, to give you greater speed.
